I was really glad we made the stop to Brandywine Falls. The Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is located a mere 15 minutes before Whistler coming from Vancouver. The parking lot is right off highway 99 and the falls are 5 minutes away. Being a popular touristic attraction near Whistler, there is a large platform near the falls from which one can enjoy a great view over the falls and the canyon below. Bring a Kodak, the view is spectacular!
But your visit at Brandywine Falls Provincial Park should end there. The hike to Cal-Cheak Suspension Bridge was flat, and lacked interest points.

We did this hike today and I have to disagree about the bridge. We took the "unmarked trail" to the bridge, rather than the boring flat trail. It was beautiful and we didn't see one other person the whole way! Seeing the confluence of Callaghan Creek and the Cheakamus river was very cool and worth the hike by itself. The bridge was very cool, too. We went back via the "main" trail, which was, admittedly, quite boring compared to the "unmarked" trail. We did have a few uncertain moments on the trail where we lost it for a bit, but we were able to find it again.
The falls are beautiful and well worth the few minutes hike from the parking lot BUT DO NOT hike to the suspension bridge if you only want to see the bridge and not hike thru 4 kms of terrain when you can almost drive right up to it.
If you leave Brandywine parking lot and drive 2.7 kms north, towards Whistler, there is an intersection at that point, where you turn right & drive down a gravel road and hike .8 kms into the the bridge.
The only marker I can give you for the intersection is it is right before the sign for the Olympic Nordic Center. (Use your trip meter and it is 2.7 kms from the Brandywine turn-off).
My family decided to hike to the bridge since it is marked at the entrance to Brandywine thinking it was a well marked trail. It is not, and at one point you come across a sign that says you are at the park boundaries. After that there are no signs, no distance signs and when you come out after hiking up and down 3.0+ kms you are next to highway 99. Ridiculous, someone actually took the time to put up some handmade signs pointing the way toward the suspension bridge since the province didnt.
The last .8 kms of the trail are the nicest thru some old growth forest and the bridge, although not as big as we exepcted, was still very nice over the river.
